In “Blaze the fire” Pedro Huet summons up a series of figures, especially gods, but also the proletariat, to question not only the old dichotomy of heaven and hell but also Justice and its avatars. The artist produced a series of works - videos, lightboxes, clay sculptures, digital images - to symbolically perform a critique of politics in this time of successive crises and emergencies. As the situationists would say, “in girum imus nocte et consumimur igni”.
